Ivory Suites (Valletta Malta)



Ivory Suites are set on 3 floors within a traditional Maltese Townhouse. Each suite has an air-conditioned bedroom, a kitchenette, a private bathroom, a flat-screen TV and a sitting area. 

Ivory Suite 2 has a traditional Maltese balcony and windows overlooking Valletta's fortifications, whilst Ivory Suite 3 has a balcony overlooking Valletta's old walls, and an amazing roof terrace with breathtaking views.

Ivory Suites Townhouse is located 5 minutes away from Valletta's main entrance, known as City Gate, the island's main bus terminus, shops, cafes, bars, restaurants and grocery shops.

The Space

This characteristic Townhouse is an ideal place to experience the authentic Maltese traditional life. 

Valletta's main entrance, known as City Gate, is a 5 minute-walk away. 

Valletta offers numerous shops, cafes, bars, restaurants, museums and entertainment spots, such as the Manoel Theater or the open-air theater. Malta’s main bus terminus is located just 5 minutes away. From here one can be connected to all parts of the island to visit the numerous archaeological sites, museums, theaters, beaches, shopping centers, pubs, bars, restaurants and clubs.

Getting Started

To get you started, we will provide you with complimentary local water, beer, & goodies!
Tea, instant coffee, and sugar is also complimentary and available during your whole stay.

  • Kitchen utensils, bed linen and towels are provided.
  • WIFI is included at no extra cost.
  • Air conditioning is present in the bedrooms and living room for cooling and heating.
  • The bedrooms are located on the first and second floor, and the property does not have a lift.

Suite 2

Ivory Suite 2 is located on the first floor of our Townhouse. Set on 3 floors, Ivory Townhouse is located 5 minutes away from Valletta's main entrance and Malta's main bus terminus. This air conditioned suite, comprising of 35 sqm, has a double bed, a sitting area, a kitchen, a private bathroom, a traditional balcony and window overlooking Valletta's fortifications. A pharmacy, grocery shop and snack bars are close by. Valletta's museums, restaurants, cafes, bars and shops are a few minutes away.

Suite 3

Ivory Suite 3 is located on the second floor of our Townhouse. Set on 3 floors, Ivory Townhouse is located 5 minutes away from Valletta's main entrance and Malta's main bus terminus. This air conditioned suite, comprising of 25 sqm, has a double bed, a sitting area, a kitchen and private bathroom, a balcony, a window and a roof terrace offering breathtaking views. A pharmacy, grocery shop and snack bars are close by. Valletta's museums, restaurants, cafes, bars and shops are only 5 minutes away.

The Surroundings

Our Townhouse, Ivory Suites, is set in Floriana (Maltese: Il-Furjana or Il-Floriana), also known by its title Borgo Vilhena. Floriana is a fortified town in the South Eastern Region area of Malta, just outside the capital city Valletta. Floriana is named after Pietro Paolo Floriani, an Italian military engineer who designed the Floriana Lines, the line of fortifications surrounding the town. Ivory Townhouse Suites are located in an area called Balzunetta, named after Barcelonnette in Spain, hence translated to "Balzunetta". Click here to read more about Floriana.

  • Daily Needs - a small grocer is located exactly behind the Townhouse. It is usually open from Monday to Saturday from 7am to 6pm.
  • Gardens - Floriana hosts a number of interesting, peaceful gardens. These include Argotti botanic gardens, the Mall Gardens, Herbert Ganado gardens, Msida Bastions.
  • Pharmacy - a pharmacy is located 1 minute further down from the house.
  • Snack Bars - Id-Dulcier offers a nice variety of pastries and sweets, a local 'pastizzi' shop is found 5 doors up from the house, and another one is around the corner. Olive house is a lebanese snack bar located a few doors up, whilst around the house there are another 3 snack bars. In addition, all the restaurts and bars in Valletta are only a few minutes away.
  • Floriana Health Centre - this is located 10 minutes away on foot.
  • Parking is quite easy around the house. There is a 20-25 car parking (free) exactly in front of the house. Around the streets there is more parking, even though some spots are timed on weekdays between 8am and 5pm. In addition there is also a paid parking lot for €3 daily.

The house is in a great location. Easy to find by car and the perfect distance from Valletta without having to be in town. Close to parks and easy food in the morning. The roof top terrace is really neat and has a 360° view. The house is quite comfortable and the beds are great. There is a combination washer/dryer which was really helpful. The host was helpful with advice and directions. A great stay.
